Established more than 20 years ago, a small business specialising in bespoke hand-finished curtains, blinds and soft furnishings such as bed throws and headboards. I have accounts with various suppliers including Villa Nova, Ian Mankin and Cameron Fuller to supply fabrics, trimmings and poles.

A lovely day out at Rousham House. Through the gate into a walled garden full of lush flower beds, a small pond, round pathways to find follies. Then down through woods to the river bank to see heritage long horn cattle cooling under trees. On to picnic lunch in another part of the garden with a beautiful stone dovecote, followed by a stroll through the vegetable garden and propagating area. A lovely place to visit.

A busy day yesterday as the young started to leave the box, encouraged by the adults in the garden. 8 left and 3 stayed put. After a view parental visits in the morning, they fledged one by one into the sunshine.
