A fresh floor for Milk & Bean ☕✨

We recently gave the kitchen at Milk & Bean a well-deserved refresh, replacing their existing safety flooring with Tarkett Safetred Universal in New Pluto.

We began by carefully uplifting the old flooring before preparing the area ready for its new finish. The new Tarkett safety flooring was then professionally fitted, giving the kitchen a fresh, clean and practical surface designed to cope with the demands of a busy working environment.

The work was completed before the coffee shop reopened, keeping disruption to a minimum and allowing the team to get straight back to business.

A simple flooring refresh can make a big difference to a hardworking commercial space — and we think the new New Pluto finish looks fantastic! 🤎

From preparation to perfection ✨

For this installation, we supplied and fitted Lime Washed Oak, creating a beautiful wood-effect finish with plenty of natural character.

Before the first plank was laid, the subfloor was meticulously prepared using .uk CL, creating an incredibly smooth, glass-like surface and the perfect foundation for the flooring.

Once prepared, we carefully planned the formation and placement of the planks, paying particular attention to the variation in colour and tone throughout the design. By thoughtfully positioning the different shades, the floor achieves a beautifully balanced and natural appearance, with each plank adding its own character to the overall finish.

The subtle changes in colour work together to create depth and movement across the floor, giving it the look and feel of a natural timber floor while keeping that clean, contemporary Karndean finish.

It’s the combination of careful preparation, thoughtful plank selection and precise fitting that makes such a difference to the finished result.

For the kitchen, we supplied and fitted Neutral Brushed Oak in a straight lay, creating a clean and sophisticated finish that works beautifully with the show home’s interior.

The natural tones and subtle texture of the Brushed Oak bring warmth to the kitchen, while the straight lay keeps the overall look clean and contemporary.

When we visited this beautiful cottage to measure for a rug, the shape of the room certainly wasn't straightforward!

But that's no problem for New Homes Flooring. We don't just supply and fit carpet, LVT and vinyl — we can also turn your favourite flooring into a bespoke rug, made to fit your space.

For this cottage, we used Seagrass Panama, carefully measured to suit the awkward shape of the room before being taped to create a neat, finished edge.

The result is a beautiful rug that fits the space perfectly and complements the character of this gorgeous cottage. 🏡

And it doesn't have to be a new carpet…

We supplied and fitted Lodge Oak Large Parquet in the beautiful Barnwood finish throughout the ground floor, creating a striking parquet design with a warm, natural character.

Before the flooring could be installed, we carried out meticulous subfloor preparation using .uk CL, creating an exceptionally smooth, glass-like finish and providing the perfect foundation for the Amtico parquet.

This project was all about getting the preparation right before bringing the finished floor to life. We started by preparing the subfloor using .uk CL, creating an exceptionally smooth, glass-like finish ready for the new flooring.

Once the preparation was complete, our team supplied and fitted Invictus Flooring Maximus in Silk Oak Oat. The natural wood-effect design adds warmth and character to the salon while providing a durable, practical flooring solution for a busy commercial environment.

The transformation is incredible, taking the space from an unfinished floor to a stylish and welcoming salon ready for its customers. 🤎
