Gooooooooood Morning on this ‘Rise & Radiate’ Tuesday and throwing it out there BIG style today is the absolute stunning Calathea Pin Stripe! Strutting her subtle pink stripes like someone’s just drawn them on her, she is a game changer!!!! She doesn’t just sit there and look pretty……she’s pet friendly too!!! She is famous for her behaviour called nyctinasty, this is where her leaves fold upwards at night resembling hands folded in prayer…..aka the prayer plant.
Another of natures beauty!!!!

Well Hello November!! November…..how has that even happened! For us this is where things start getting spicey! We have so much going on! our 1st Christmas wreath workshop with Katie on the 11th, Jess with our Jesmonite North workshop on the 25th, and now we’re on the countdown to The Taste Of Redcar which starts this Wednesday. Coffee and cake combo for £5 (just mention The Taste of Redcar or produce the voucher at checkout, link for voucher is below)
We’ve a couple of other little treats up our sleeve too- we don’t like to reveal all, anticipation is half the fun!

It's not long before our first Christmas wreath workshop!
Get into the festive spirit with a handmade decorative wreath for your front door.

Join us on Wednesday 11th November or Wednesday 2nd December where we will provide you with all the materials needed to make a gorgeous seasonal showpiece.

Our wreath expert Katie from will take you through the process, step by step, helping you to create your very own masterpiece, all finished with a beautiful ribbon bow.

There are a few tickets left for both dates, but they are selling fast

Good Morning on this ‘Feel The Love Friday’
Kicking off with the ‘Philodendron Scadens Brasil’
This trailing bunch of cuteness with its distinctive heart shaped leaves, prefers bright, indirect sunlight and likes to dry out slightly between watering. Each leaf grows its own entirely unique pattern……..just like us really 🥰

Welcome to Wonderful Windy Wednesday!
Well the wind’s doing what the wind does best and making a right song and dance about it, but we’re not letting a bit of wind blow away our happiness! Life doesn’t have to be calm to be wonderful and not every day has to go to plan to be a good one! So put a spring in your step (even if it does blow you sideways) and head down to The House Of Foliage for a nice cup of tea or coffee and a slice of cake. We have the very popular Daim Brownies in again, they don’t last long!! Along with Jammie dodger blondies, School Cake, Raspberry Crumble muffins. Or there’s seeded sourdough toast, teacakes and a lovely mixture of scones.

We’re showcasing the gorgeous Medinilla Magnifica today, known for her gorgeous cascading clusters of pink flowers and large leathery green leaves. She’s a stunner at about 3’ tall, great for a bright spot but not direct sunlight.
