It’s Saturday, and while most of you are likely tackling the weekend cleaning, here is a quick tip to refresh your real wood grain. It couldn’t be simpler: you definitely have some mayonnaise in your fridge! Check out the results my coasters achieved—I am absolutely thrilled. Good luck, and have a lovely Saturday.

I love this one...tip no:3
Minimalism can stop sensory overload, but empty white walls can leave an ADHD mind bored and understimulated. You need calm, but you also need dopamine.

The secret from a 2023 Egyptian study on metaphysical architecture is that you don't need a structural renovation to get this. You can hack your brain’s perception of depth using colour blocking.

By painting bold, geometric blocks of deeper tones, you trick the brain into seeing sculptural depth and mystery that isn't actually there. This subtle visual stimulation feeds your mind dopamine, while the clutter-free surfaces protect you from burnout.

Pick a wall, drop a bold geometric block, and turn a flat room into a deep, structured sanctuary.

Which chair would you chose? I need to make a move. My current chair isn’t enough; it doesn’t support me.
My office chair is my Executive CEO command center. This new one has to be perfect: beautiful, deeply supportive, and a source of joy. Since prices range from £95 to £420, value matters—but the feeling is everything. It must reflect the posture I choose for my life.
Help me decide! Which one would you choose? 👇

Psychological breakdown:
Your main chair is a symbol of the position you take in life. If it’s uncomfortable or unsupportive, your body stays in a state of subtle tension, which inevitably mirrors your mindset. Choosing a chair that truly holds you is a conscious act of reclaiming your space and setting the standard for how you command your work and your life. Don’t settle for "fine"—become aware of what your environment says about your self-worth. Change your seat, change your posture, change your life.

Tip 2: Open Your Window Right Now
If your room is stuffy, loud, and glaringly bright, your ADHD brain is cooked before you even try to focus. Before you get overwhelmed, start with the basics to build your personal oasis.

Four simple elements can lower your sensory overload:

Air: Open that window. Fresh, moving air drops CO_2 and keeps you sharp.

Temperature: Keeping it cool and crisp (ideally 18-20°C) may help reduce restlessness.

Acoustics: Use soft textures and rugs to kill annoying sound echoes.

Lighting: Diffuse harsh glare to let your eyes and mind relax.

A 2023 study by S. Alizadeh found that these four indoor environmental factors influence how heavy the cognitive load is on an overstimulated mind.

Crack a window, soften the room, and let your nervous system breathe.

Which of these colour palettes is your favourite, and which one is a "big no"?

I designed these based on natural inspirations using the 60-30-10 rule.
Check out the visuals and let me know in the comments!

Personally, I adore "lemon tea" and "red berry delight"—they truly lift my spirits and make me want to stay in those spaces forever. How about you?

"lemon tea"
"arsenic tea"

Be your own CEO by taking a command position in your home office.

Tip 1: Protect Your Back (and secure the best view)
Never face a blank wall with your back completely open to the room. Many adults with ADHD report feeling more distracted, tense, or mentally “on alert” when they can’t easily see the space around them.

When positioning a desk or sofa, try using the Command Position: a solid wall behind you (Refuge) combined with a clear view of the room, doorway, or window (Prospect). Research in environmental psychology suggests that spaces balancing “prospect” and “refuge” may help reduce cognitive strain and support focus in overstimulating environments.

A recent exploratory EEG study by J. Parke found that some adults with ADHD showed signs of increased cognitive load and hypervigilance when seated with their backs exposed in open environments.

Secure your back, open your view, and create a space that feels calmer and easier for your mind to settle into.

Joyful Island - a space where you find peace and joy.

Inspired by a tropical island, this project started with setting the mood I wanted to achieve: serene joy. I combined sage green with a warm, muted pink in a tropical style.

The result is an open, friendly space - an island where the family meets for meaningful conversations. It’s a place designed for connection, balance, and positive energy. Every detail was carefully selected to foster an environment where relationships flourish.

I’m curious - how does this colour combination make you feel? Do you think the sage green and muted pink create a perfect balance, or are you more of a bold contrast lover? Let me know in the comments

If you love this vibe, you can find a curated version of this palette available in my shop. Link in the first comment

Your home is shaping you - more than you realise.

I have experienced this myself. My bedroom became a sanctuary for deep recovery, my hallway a quiet companion, and my workspace a haven of clarity. I work with space as a force that influences how you feel, think, and move through life.

Today, I am officially opening my studio.

This is a dream I have nurtured for a long time - a journey that pushed me out of my comfort zone and into my purpose. I am deeply grateful to Interior Designers Hub for their support, and to my mentor, Chantal, for being the cheerleader I truly needed.

I design for coaches, mentors, therapists, educators, and women in personal growth - people who hold space for others and want to grow and expand. Because I believe the home should be an extension of your nervous system, clarity, and capacity to show up fully.

My studio is now open.

You can explore my signature colour palettes or book a Bespoke Colour Palette Consultation.
