❤️ DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE IN CORNWALL WHO DESERVES A HELPING HAND? ❤️
As part of RSHDECORATORS – Giving Back to Cornwall, I don’t just want to get local tradespeople together — I want to find someone we can genuinely make a difference for.
Maybe you know:
❤️ A family with a child who has been seriously unwell and has had far more important things to worry about than decorating their home.
❤️ Someone going through an incredibly difficult time who could really do with a fresh start.
🌿 An elderly or vulnerable person whose garden has become too much for them to manage.
🏠 A family whose home desperately needs a freshen-up but who simply can’t afford to have the work done.
🛠️ Or somebody in our Cornish community who has always helped others and now deserves a little help themselves.
I’d like to put together a team of local Cornish tradespeople and businesses and give up a weekend to transform a home completely FREE OF CHARGE.
📅 PROPOSED COMMUNITY WEEKEND
Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th October 2026
Painters & decorators, plasterers, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, tilers, flooring specialists, builders, gardeners, cleaners and local suppliers — I’d love to hear from you.
If businesses can’t spare the time but would like to donate paint, materials, flooring, plants, skips or anything else that could help, that would be amazing too.
❤️ NOMINATE SOMEONE
If you know a family or individual who genuinely deserves our help, please send me a private message rather than posting their personal circumstances publicly.
Tell me a little about them, what help they could benefit from and roughly where in Cornwall they are.
Once we’ve got our team together, we’ll choose someone we believe we can genuinely help and see just how much difference a group of Cornish trades can make in two days.
No money. No profit. Just people helping people.
It costs nothing to be kind. ❤️
Let’s get Cornwall behind this and create something we can all be proud of.

PLEASE SHARE — the right person or family could be just one share away
One thing I’d recommend is not asking people to publicly explain why a child or family deserves help. Have nominations sent privately, get permission from the chosen family before sharing their story or photographs, and keep children’s medical details private unless their parent or guardian specifically wants them shared.
