As featured in the Rhyl Journal.I was twelve years old when I first heard about Offa's D**e Path. A real, waymarked trail β 177 miles from the Severn Estuary all the way north to the sea. It stopped me cold. I thought: I want to do that. Then I spent the next thirty years finding reasons not to.Too unfit. Too busy. Too heavy. I'd already broken down once and had to pull out injured. By the time I finally stood at the start of it β overweight, undertrained, with a dream that was nearly three decades overdue β I had no business being there.I did it anyway. 177 miles. 13 days. One step at a time. This is that story.
