A week of knitting in Scotland is coming to a close. To be able to concentrate on without distractions has been amazing.

Daffodils, heather, elderberries, woad and comfrey (thanks Alison for your contribution!) The comfrey was a new one and gave 'an expensive-looking shade of beige' 😄 which complemented the other colours very well. Next natural dyeing workshop is Wednesday 6th May with 2 spaces still remaining.

My talented friend Jane Beaumont designed and printed a beautiful barn owl for stitching on. A combination of natural wool and naturally dyed wool offers the best barn owl colours (not dyed using barn owls but with lichens!)
