Interior & Furniture Design

I help you understand what your space needs and design it around the way you live or work — creating spaces that reflect your personality, with bespoke furniture and joinery where needed.

DOES YOUR SPACE HAVE POTENTIAL — BUT YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH IT?

Perhaps you have an awkward corner that never quite works, a room that’s difficult to furnish, aa office that needs to fit into an existing space, or storage that needs a more considered solution.

Or perhaps you’re planning a larger project and simply don’t know where to start.

Sometimes, the right solution needs to be designed specifically for the space.

BESPOKE FURNITURE & JOINERY DESIGN CONSULTATION

Combining interior design thinking with a focus on furniture, storage and custom-built solutions, this consultation helps you explore the potential of your space before committing to a design.

We’ll look at:
• Space planning and layout
• How the space needs to function and feel
• Furniture, storage and bespoke design possibilities
• Awkward or underused areas
• Custom-built furniture, bespoke joinery and integrated solutions
• Materials, finishes and overall design direction
• Practical considerations before you invest in your project

WHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE

A written report analysing your space, with considered solutions and suggestions, together with visual inspiration to communicate the design direction.

Whether it’s one room, an awkward area or the starting point for a larger interior project, the aim is to help you understand what’s possible and identify the right direction for your space.

I’m doing a little research as part of my interior and furniture design work and I’d love to hear what people really think about changing their spaces.

I’ve put together 10 short questions about your home or workspace — what makes you want to change it, what you find difficult, and what you’d expect from an interior designer.

If you have a few minutes, I’d really appreciate your thoughts 😊

A Few Questions about your space

Good design starts with a feeling, not a floor plan.
Swipe through how one project moves from mood board → sketch → finished space.
Save this if you’re planning a renovation and want to see the process, not just the result.

A small, challenging kitchen project, where the client’s brief was: “I want everything in there.” It was all about smart design and great carpentry to work with a small space — fitting every function in without it feeling cramped. Microwave, dishwasher, full-size oven, hob, storage, and a wraparound breakfast bar for entertaining, all finished with quartz worktops.
Not to mention a gas meter stuck in the middle of the room, facing the wrong way. We turned it 180°, built a cupboard around it for access, and turned that into a feature pillar with some extra storage and a shelf.
Great design and brilliant carpentry. Ended up with a kitchen that works and looks great. Happy client.

Does your workspace work for you?
Whether it’s a home office, a studio or a workplace, we spend a huge amount of our time there.
It’s where we think, create, concentrate, make decisions, meet people, solve problems — and ultimately, where we earn our living.
So perhaps our working environment deserves a little more thought.
We all work differently, and we all have different requirements. Sometimes it’s the obvious things — enough space, good lighting, comfortable furniture. But often it’s the smaller, more personal things that make a space feel right.
A view outside.
Plants around you.
Somewhere to spread your ideas out.
Everything within reach.
A calm, uncluttered environment.
Or perhaps the complete opposite.
What are your workspace non-negotiables?
What do you need around you to feel comfortable, focused, motivated and able to do your best work?
I’d love to know — what’s the one thing your workspace needs to have? 👇
Good design starts with understanding how a space needs to work — for the person using it.
