Very proud to be part of the Staithes Festival of Arts & Heritage this year. If this is something that you haven't been to it before it is an absolutely fantastic weekend and well worth a visit.

Meet Bill Nixon
Studio: Lighthouse Crafts
Artform: Wood turning

Lighthouse Crafts selects local hardwoods which are then turned on a wood lathe.

The range includes bowls, pens, bottle openers and stoppers, along with a selection of crafter’s items including a quick unpick, bradawl and interchangeable crochet hooks. Each piece is made with a balanced handle, designed to make it easy to use.

See Bill’s wood-turned pieces at Staithes Festival of Arts & Heritage 2026.
