As well as fabric design, the style of curtain header you choose can really have an impact on the look of your curtains.

Pencil pleats are the most popular with my customers, creating a regular, full gather. Pinch pleats create a more formal look, pulling open to a narrower profile. They can also be embellished with buttons.

Eyelets also pull open to a narrower profile and are therefore a popular choice for wide windows.

A frill can add soft drama and interest, and is suited to short as well as long curtains.

This barn conversion has been beautifully complemented by the water colour hues of Country Hedgerow from Voyage (blinds and faux blind) and Ventura fabric from Prestigious for the eyelet curtains and blind in the sitting room.
