Welsh Coast Pebble Craft

Inspired by pebbles, driftwood and sea glass found on the shores along the Welsh Coast

For as long as I can remember, I've been interested in anything that's arts and craft related. I have a degree in Fashion and Product Design and have been working as a Graphic Designer for the last 20 years. I've been holidaying in West Wales, particularly in St Davids and Solva for the last 10 years and love nothing more than exploring the coast for hours on end with a promise a nice cold pint at

the end of it. On a recent trip to Newgale, whilst playing around with the many pebbles along the shoreline, I unwittingly began to create pictures of people and animals. Encouraged by my family to make something specific for them, I realised that this would make the perfect gift for birthdays, life events and Christmas.

It’s our final day at the Craft*folK August Bank Holiday Arts and Craft Fayre. So, pop along if you’re in the Bay Area for your last chance to buy a unique piece of artwork before our last event of the year Cardiff Christmas Market. There’s loads going on today, lots of lovely handmade stalls, rides, food, face painting, music and more. The weather is also with us again at last.

We’re all set up for the Craft*folK August Bank Holiday Arts & Craft Fayre. You can find us opposite the Wales Millennium Centre until Monday from 10am-5.30pm. Pop along for your last chance to purchase a unique piece of artwork before our final event of the year Cardiff Christmas Market in November.

This Bank Holiday is our last event of the year before the Cardiff Christmas Market. You can find us on the upper level of Roald Dahl Plass, opposite the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff Bay. There will be lots to do and see for all the family over this Bank Holiday, including the Cardiff Bay Family Fun Park in the Basin, and a welcome return of the Butetown Carnival.

It’s our final 2 days of the Craft*folK Summer Arts & Craft Fayre. The weather is a bit cooler today. So, if you’re out and about in Cardiff city centre or planning a trip in, pop along opposite the Queen’s Arcade steps to come and have a leisurely stroll around our beautiful, handmade and unique market. We’re open from 10am.

We'll be in Cardiff city centre from Saturday 1 August until Saturday 15 August for the Craft*folK Spring Arts & Craft Festival. You can find us in Working Street, opposite the Queen's Arcade Steps from 10am daily. We’ll be well-stocked with all manner of designs. So, pop along and take a leisurely stroll around our relaxed market for your chance to purchase a unique piece of pebble art.
