The texture and colour of the petals was so therapeutic to draw. The little mouse hiding in the tulip is too cute 🥰

What a weekend!!
The sun was shining, new orders coming in, Easter egg hunts, finished and delivered Mr Cow, cooked an epic roast, made some new earrings and drew out my next painting!
Now for a rest…

I’ve recovered from the Rochester Art Fair and I’ve started my biggest painting yet!

This is a Highland cow commission, and I began it using my chaotic “doodle method” to map out the shapes.

It always looks like complete madness at this stage…
but somehow the cow appears eventually 🐮

Very much a work in progress, but I’m excited to see where it goes.
