Old English Oak. One of those tones that just works in a period property.

Textures LVT, herringbone through a hallway and kitchen. The natural grain variation in this product gives it a character that more uniform tones simply do not have. It feels like it belongs in an older home rather than sitting on top of it.

The warm tone carries consistently through both spaces, and the pattern holds its line from one room to the next without losing anything at the threshold.

Some bathrooms do the talking for you. This is one of them.

Light oak herringbone with a black design strip border. The light oak was the right call. Anything darker and the room would have felt closed in. Anything cooler and it would have felt clinical.

A border strip like this has to be precise at every corner. There is nowhere for it to hide in a room this detailed.

LVT is fully waterproof and handles daily moisture without issue. In a bathroom finished to this standard that matters as much as how it looks.

Galway. One of the best tones we have laid this year.

J2 Iconic in a conservatory, herringbone throughout. The tone sits perfectly in a room with this much natural light, warm enough to feel considered without tipping into yellow, cool enough to stay fresh without feeling cold.

A conservatory is one of those spaces where the herringbone set-out has to be planned carefully from the start. Every door frame and window junction has to be accounted for before a single plank goes down, and the pattern has to hold its line all the way to every edge without drifting.

Worth every minute of it.

Some floors you have to see moving to really appreciate.

The pinstripe detail, the way the grain catches the light at different angles, and how the herringbone reads as you walk through from one room to the next. None of that comes across in a still the same way it does on camera.

2 Natural Timbers, Naked Oak. Herringbone with a hand-cut pinstripe feature throughout.

The border work on this one took as long as the laying. A 3mm cream strip with a 5mm Naked Oak border running through every room, navigating every threshold and junction without losing its line.

Each corner is hand-cut and mitred using the Geordie Stripper by @‌stairrodsuk.

That level of detail does not happen by accident. It takes planning before anything goes down and patience to execute it properly once it does.

The warm, natural tone of Naked Oak holds up well across a floor this size. Nothing too cool, nothing too yellow. Just right for the space.
