Another great telephone box has gone out today. This one to Danters at Symonds Yat Caravan Park.

This K6 was made by W. MacFarlane & Co at the Saracen Foundry in Glasgow. A super piece of history going to it's new home!

We have three telephone boxes left at the yard. Get in touch if you’d like to know more.

Due to the weather conditions expected over the next couple of days, we’ll be open by appointment only on Friday 23 October.

We’ll be closed on Saturday 24 October while we batten down the hatches and make sure everything is safe.

Hi everyone, so sorry we have been closed for the latter part of this week as we are both ill. We will also be closed on Saturday. Apologies to customers who have been let down. It's always a last resort to close the gates as we understand people rely on a timely supply of materials to keep jobs running smoothly. We will open on Sunday 18th October from 10am to 2pm to help anyone out who needs materials for next week. Browsers welcome as usual.

A little walk around our reclaimed Welsh slates at Ross Reclamation.

Take a closer look at the many different sizes, colours, thicknesses & character available in the yard. If you’re matching an existing roof, bring a sample along, and we’ll help you find the best match. Each slate is hand-sorted by Michael to ensure only the best quality are picked.

We’ve just had a fresh delivery of new Indian sandstone into the yard. Good, practical paving for anyone planning a patio or getting a garden project underway.

All 22mm thick, with three colours in stock:

• Autumn Brown – 3 patio packs available, 18m² per pack, at £28/m² + VAT.
• Raj Blend – 10 patio packs available, 19m² per pack, at £22/m² + VAT.
• Kandla Grey – 10 patio packs available, 19m² per pack, at £22/m² + VAT.

A patio pack contains a mixture of slab sizes to lay together in a varied pattern. The packs include 900 × 600, 600 × 600, 600 × 300 and 300 × 300mm slabs.

As this is natural stone, colour and texture can vary from the images, so it’s always best to come and take a look in person.

Please stop sending your apprentice in for 6ft of fallopian tubing. We actually have work to do.
We do not have time to babysit Tyler while he stands by the scaffold boards slowly losing the will to live.

We don't sell grinding sparks. We've run out of spirit level bubbles.The skirting board ladders are on back order. And Michael isnt lending out his left handed screwdriver.

Please come and collect your apprentice.
He's waiting for a long stand.....hes been here 45 minutes and starting to ask questions.
