Fabulous Wreaths, Darling Luxurious, hand made year round faux wreaths to adorn doors, brighten up wall spaces & for displays in retail settings and wedding venues.

Bespoke designs on request. Wreath workshops at Christmas. All wreaths are designed with indoor and outdoor use in mind and are treated with a UV protect & sealing spray before delivery. If displaying outdoors they will need shelter from rain and direct sunshine to keep them looking…FABULOUS! As all wreaths are handmade, please allow a few days for this creative process to happen and for them to wing their way to you.

The autumn porch has been autumning since Sept 1st and I’m itching to make this 100% Halloweeny.

Is it too early to turn the porch into Halloween? 🎃

Because I’m currently showing remarkable restraint.

What I want is for it to look like a pumpkin patch has EXPLODED across the front of the house. 🎃💥🎃

Pumpkins on the steps. Pumpkins by the door. Pumpkins in places pumpkins have absolutely no business being.

Basically, tasteful autumn… but with absolutely no self-control. 🍂😂

I’m giving it a little longer.

Probably.

Well… the pine cones have spoken. Some went pale. Some flatly refused. 😂🌲

Remember those pine cones I lobbed into bleach? Here they are, fully dried, reopened and showing off their VERY different interpretations of “bleached”.

The process is pretty simple — soak them in diluted bleach, rinse them really well and leave them to dry completely. They close up while soaking, then gradually open again as they dry.

And clearly, no two pine cones received the same memo. Some have gone beautifully pale and bleached 🤍 while others have stubbornly held onto their natural woody tones.

But I’m actually rather pleased they did.

Mixed together on a blue pine wreath, those different shades are really striking — pale, woody, natural and just the right amount of contrast.

So the lesson here? Bleach your pine cones, expect absolutely no consistency whatsoever… then announce confidently that the variation was always part of the design. 😂🌲
