You, me, the clocks falling back and this.
This Edwardian sitting room in Hastings wasn’t briefed as a “pink communal room”. We started with the feeling.
It feels like the welcoming hug from a friend you haven’t seen for months, followed by an afternoon spent talking about everything and nothing. If a room can be that, which I believe it can.
It’s almost inescapably warm. Every corner feels like it envelopes you, whether the fire’s roaring in October or the windows are thrown open in June. I especially love the vignettes created by the duo of mirrors.
If a room in your home is feeling “off” and you’re struggling to encapsulate what you do want it to feel like, I can help. My design services cover Kent, Sussex and the South East. Drop me a DM with a brief description of the room to kick things off.
