Meet FYG, the newest addition to our shelves, bringing candles, reed diffusers and wax melts in the most beautiful colours.

We love the thought behind FYG, too. Their candles are hand-poured here in the UK using coconut and non-GMO rapeseed wax, with packaging you can recycle and lovely vessels to use again. Beautiful fragrance, with care for the little details… very much our kind of thing 🤍

From Lime, Basil & Mandarin to Cedar & Jasmine, our first collection is all about finding a fragrance that feels like you. Something for slow evenings, a welcoming home, or a thoughtful gift for someone lovely.

And yes… we’re rather taken with the packaging too!

Festive Wreath Gatherings with Stems at 24

This Christmas, we’re doing things a little differently…

We’re moving next door to Jules Cafe & Deli Ltd, where we’ll be gathering around their table for a few hours of creativity, chatter and plenty of festive fun.

With buckets of British-grown winter foliage at your fingertips, you’ll create your own wild and wonderfully individual wreath, adding berries, dried fruits, seasonal textures and gorgeous ribbons along the way.

Never made a wreath before? Perfect. You don’t need any floristry experience — we’ll show you everything you need to know. Just come ready to get stuck in and have some fun.

And this is Stems, so you already know the rules…

No floral foam.
No glitter.
No baubles.

Just fabulous British foliage, natural seasonal details and plenty of unique ingredients to make it completely your own.

Come on your own, bring a friend, or gather your favourite people and book a table together. We’ll provide the festive refreshments, the flowers and foliage — and a lovely few hours away from the Christmas chaos.

£60 per person
Everything you need to create your wreath, plus festive refreshments, is included.

And afterwards? Pop next door for a wander around Stems, where everyone joining us Around the Table will receive 10% off in the shop on the day.

You’ll head home with a gorgeous handcrafted wreath for your door … and hopefully feeling just a little more Christmassy than when you arrived.

Still here. Still flowering. Still open. 🌿💐

There may be roadworks. There may be diversions. And getting into Ruddington might require a tiny bit more determination than usual… 😅

But behind all those cones and signs, your favourite independent shops, cafés and businesses are still very much here — and very much open.

So come and see us. Pick up some flowers. Have a wander around the village. Grab a coffee, we have plenty of incredible places along the high street!

A farewell as individual as the person being remembered. 🤍

Created in his own fishing trolley, with his fishing floats nestled amongst the flowers, this was a wonderfully personal tribute to a much-loved pastime.

Each section was arranged in jars of water, allowing the flowers to be lifted out and shared amongst family and friends afterwards.

Because farewell flowers don’t have to be traditional….
Sometimes the most meaningful tributes are the ones that simply feel like the person they were created for.

There’s a little something extra in our cooler on market week!! 🍻

The secret behind a cold pint at RVM... 👀🍺

Every month, a few days before the market, our b**r kegs take a little trip to the High Street - where the ace team at Stems at 24 somehow find room for them in their cold store... it means that when we arrive on The Green at silly o’clock on market morning, the b**r is already nice and cold, ready to go - and makes a huge difference to our little volunteer-run bar. Thank you Carol and Shelley for letting us colonise part of your cold store with b**r! 😊

If you’ve never been into Stems, it’s far more than somewhere to grab a bunch of flowers - you’ll find gorgeous fresh flowers and bespoke bouquets, beautiful plants, pots, gifts and all sorts of lovely things for the home. And if you need flowers for a wedding, funeral or special occasion, that’s very much their thing too. 💐🌿 (insider tip: they’ve also got quite possibly the best selection of NSFW greetings cards on the high street 😂)

Then there’s the duo behind the counter: Carol - always one for a natter, Shelley - florist by day, raver at heart... and both always up for a laugh. It’s half the reason to pop in! 😉
