Here is Shmoonpig, also known as Moons, MIP❤️🐾🌈
Nadia tells me:
"Moons came into my life as a tiny rescue kitten at just 4 weeks old. She was this little bundle of fluff who needed someone to love and care for her, and somehow, we found each other. I nursed her back to health, and what followed was 18 magical years together. Little did I know at the time just how much that tiny kitten would change my life.
Moons wasn't just a cat to me. She was my soul kitty, my little shadow, my comfort and my best friend. She was by my side for almost half of my life, through so many ups and downs, and always had a way of making even the darkest days feel a little brighter. She had the biggest personality, so full of love, mischief and, of course, a little feistiness when she fancied it! 😂❤️ She really was one of a kind.
Losing her was one of the hardest things I've ever experienced. It genuinely felt like I'd lost a part of myself, and even now, there's a little Moons-shaped hole in my heart that nothing will ever quite fill.
As soon as I unwrapped the portrait, both my partner and I started to tear up.
Steph has managed to capture everything that made Moons Moons. Her little expression, that unmistakable look in her eyes, her personality, even her mannerisms. It's almost as though she's right there in front of me again. I can't quite explain how much that means " continued in the comment section...

"Tumble was a magical soul, he was just the happiest little thing. He never stopped playing and loved his wonkies (especially the flowers from the Fluffy Retreat)
He did the funniest little war dance by spinning in circles. He also did what we called the Tumble or Dumble charge, where he would stomp his little front feet and then charge you. It looked like he wound himself up before charging.
He truly loved life and lived it to the fullest". Thanks for sharing Tumble's memories Esté 🐾🩵🌈. I'm so glad I got to meet him a few times and it was an honour to paint this sweet little boy. DIP Tumble.

🩵Puss-Puss had the most amazing blue eyes!🩵

Thank you Nicola for sharing these memories : "he loved to come for long walks with me and the dogs, no lead! And also when young would fetch a toy mouse or crumpled piece of paper thrown from across the room and bring it back to me on the sofa! Basically he thought he was a dog!
He would also 'give paw' for treat!
He was loved very much and was such a good boy"

💙🐾🌈"Mighty Tiberius came to Fert-Topia after his cage mates passed away and his mom didn't want him to be alone. She knew I took care of ferts and was glad to take him in. He was quite the explorer and loved the outdoors. The hoop portrait is from his adventure to the Potomac River."

"Keiko Jane was a stray fert I rescued in my neighborhood July 2018. Found her hiding under a ramp and she let me pick her up. Found her owner and got asked to keep her. She was very sweet and playful but in her senior years was a loner after her buddies passed. She had a good long life passing in April 2025.".... thank you Jay for being part of her life and for asking for a little memorial portrait.

OLIVE was a dear little boy and so loved by Nicola, thank you for having me paint a memorial portrait.
"He loved cuddles and strokes and sat on my shoulder of a evening, having nibbles of whatever I was eating!
He never said a word but he mimicked the McDonald's whistle on the TV perfectly!
The first time, he did it, I nearly fell off me chair! 🤣 "My boy, you watch too much television!" I said to him. Haha".
He lived to a great age of over 12 years, which is good for a Linnie (Lineolated Parakeet)

Thanks Rachel Grant at Westoncruive Ferretry. This means a lot. 🐾🌈💜

We have had these six gorgeous hoops painted for us by DNYL Art 💚 these are of some of our perfect rainbow fuzzies and we could not be happier with how wonderful their portraits are 💚
Steph has really captured their mischief and their sweetness. We will hopefully get some more painted in future and we are so so happy with these wonderful reminders of these fuzzies 💚
