Maude is, today, modelling the finished shawl/wrap in the gorgeous muted shades, James Brett 'Shhhhh' dk acrylic/wool mix yarn. The photos show some of the stages in the weaving process, from being on the loom to the finished item. I really love how this one, in just a simple weave, has turned out. I decided to keep it simple and let the colours in the yarn 'do the talking'. Less is more here! Now for sale at £45 in my little shop at the , Halton Road Runcorn Cheshire 🧵🧶🪡👍👌🤓💜

Using the same yarn in a different way today. My large weaving loom is all warped up and I'm now busy on a simple woven shawl/wrap. The warp is a pretty strawberry pink, to bring out the pinky shades in the weft. It also contrasts well with the greens and blues. There'll be more photos when it's finished --- 🧵🧶🪡👍👌🤓💜
