A rare version of the large size TROIKA cylinder vase with bands of circle and triangle pattern. White glazed inside.
Vintage original from the 1970s and its large size is rarely seen. The vase is 37cm high.

Marked TROIKA to the base in handwritten script, plus the monogram for Linda Hazel a renowned decorator at theTroika factory in the early 1970s.
Linda Hazel was active during the early Newlyn period, working on a variety of popular shapes. Her decoration often combined earthy oxide washes with careful textural detailing. She brought a steady, craftsmanlike approach to each piece, helping maintain the quality Troika had become known for. While her time at the pottery was not long, her contribution adds richness to the Newlyn catalogue.
Cornwall 1970s , 37cm high 11cm diameter

Wonderful pair of hand painted fiberglass moulded panels from the 1960s/70s depicting a Chinese dragon and phoenix.
Together, they represent the ultimate symbol of Yin and Yang balance in Chinese culture, signifying matrimonial harmony, prosperity, and good fortune.
The Dragon symbolizes male energy (Yang), supreme power, imperial majesty, and leadership. The Phoenix symbolizes female energy (Yin), grace, virtue, and high aesthetic renewal.
Originally from a London restaurant these both have excellent traditional imagery, vibrant colours and with a faded gold ground all add to their vintage period aesthetic.
These provide a true statement to any interior and are a unique talking point.
