Look what Paul's been making! 👀
He's mid way through a few weeks off the day job and in his workshop - his Very Happy Place. 😊
His latest obsessions (we like an obsession or two in the Hayler Household) is Large Garden Art.🏡
We thought this one rather suited the Zen Tortoise Enclosure. The girls literally climbed over each other for a better look and Tooty nearly fainted with wonder.
If space permits we will take them to Wolverton Manor Garden Fair next weekend - the glass not the tortoises - this year we are inside a marquee so will have to see how we are for space... But if you are interested in purchasing/discussing/commissioning pls DM us ❤️

So back in the spirit of honesty.. I'm out of my bra and pants, and into my pyjamas!!!! But hey it's only 1.30 am and those handles don't attach themselves do they?
And to hell. I've dyed my hair pink and it matches my pyjamas so maybe they makes it ALL OK?!?? Probably not but I just don't care 🤣
Day started with a 6.30 wake up to let the ducks out - automatic door arrived today, being fitted tomorrow. Horah! 🦆
A full on day in the studio and then a meal out - happy anniversary Paul, how the hell have you put up with me for 19 yrs, well done and congratulations 🎉
Followed by a film at home. Then 'popped out to unload/reload the kiln'. But hey the mugs will all dry ...so best turn and attach the handles right, as Wolverton Manor Garden Fair is looooooooming. 🍵
Nearly fell asleep face into them as was listening to the shipping forecast and had had an Anniversary Drink. 🚢 🍷
Woop woop, 5 hours sleep till time to let the ducks out.

An essential warning! ⚠️ All pots here today at The Garlic Festival were made whilst wearing only my KNICKERS AND BRA!!!! So they have a bit of sweat mixed in, a few tears, but luckily no blood.
With a kiln cooking at 1,220 degrees to help the studio temperatures along, I hope you applaud my dedication!!! 👏

An invite to all those who took part in our project at Havenstreet Community Centre;

The HCA are hosting an Grand Unveiling of your beautiful creations this Wednesday 15th July at 6pm. There will be wine and crisps and we hope to have a first - aider on site as we anticipate lots of fainting people (you will all be overawed by how fabulous it all is). Honestly we are so proud of everyone who participated. 🫢

Wowzer what a day!!!! 😲
Totally thrilled to have been awarded the Countryside Small Business of the Year Award at the Royal Isle of Wight County Show today!!!!! Massively delighted and surprised, thank you judges!!! This means the world!!! 🌎
AND I got to cuddle a camel !!!!🐪 (Swoon!) Watching them racing in all their magnificent costumes, was a visual delight I shall never forget.
Thank you County Show, you know how to pull it out of the bag!!!🛍️

Big Bowls Kirstie has done it again!!!!! I award myself a gold star!!!! 🤣 ⭐
Sometimes the glazes just hit that sweet spot. It is of course all luck and random so I'm not blowing my own trumpet 🎺!!!
I've also found a cracking new blue glaze that I'm very pleased with.
Throwing these monsters gives me very sore shoulders, and firing them makes my studio hotter than the face of the sun so it's a relief when they come good.🌞

We will be exhibiting at Royal Isle of Wight County Show this weekend, and I'm so excited to watch the camel racing that I might just faint!!!!! 🐪
I'm taking the Wonda Wheel too (my portable potter's wheel) so come and have a go if you think you're hard enough!!!! 🤣
