Some interesting facts about Lisianthus💐
🌿 It’s native to North America — despite its delicate, almost rose-like appearance, lisianthus originally comes from the prairies and grasslands of the southern United States, Mexico, and parts of the Caribbean.
🌹 It’s often called the “Texas bluebell” — other common names include prairie gentian and Texas bluebell.
🌸 It looks like a rose but isn’t related to roses. Lisianthus belongs to the gentian family (Gentianaceae), which includes gentians and other flowering plants.
