We love exploring places on our doorstep here in Cornwall. Today Graham and I set out to visit some of the beautiful, Roseland Peninsula, which included Portloe, Veryan & Pendower beach🏖️. A gorgeous sunny, Bank Holiday afternoon and it was so quiet in these gorgeous, charming villages! 🏡⛱️🌊 We feel so lucky to have such beauty all around us here ☺️

I’m really looking forward to being at this year’s Sturminster Newton Cheese Festival on Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th September! 🎉

It’s always such a fabulous weekend celebrating the very best of local food, artisan producers, crafts, music and community – and of course, there’s going to be an awful lot of CHEESE! 🧀😋

I’ll be there with Kymara Cornish Art, bringing plenty of my handmade coastal creations from Cornwall. 🌊💙

You’ll find lots of ocean-inspired pieces, including:

What a wonderful rainbow, seen from the studio this afternoon, 🌈after what had been a worrying day as Molly didn't come home this morning! 😟It wasn't like her at all, as she's always in for breakfast without fail! I left for Sidmouth to run 2 workshops overnight, with a heavy heart and reaching out for hope she'd return safely.🙏
10 hours later, Molly saunters in, meowing for food! Probably thinking," What's all the fuss about?" Graham gives her 2 late breakfasts as she's so hungry.🥫 She's obviously been locked in somewhere or couldn't get home! Then this rainbow appears! 🌈 Funny that, eh!!🙏🧡🩷🧡 xx

A huge thank you to Porthpean Sailing Club for hosting such a wonderful Afternoon Tea on Saturday, raising funds for both Cornwall Hospice and Teens Unite Fighting Cancer.

Teens Unite Fighting Cancer will be absolutely over the moon with the £325 donation! 🥰 We know that funds were also raised for Cornwall Hospice, another incredibly important local charity.

On behalf of Teens Unite, I’d especially like to thank everyone who helped, and Isobel for all your hard work in organising such a wonderful afternoon. And a huge thank you to everyone who baked the most delicious cakes!! 🧁🎂🍰🍩🍪 They were absolutely amazing, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed them! 😋

Thank you too to all the crafters who supported the event, everyone who came along and bought from us, and to all those who made such generous donations. Your support really does make a difference. 💕

Teens Unite Fighting Cancer supports young people aged 13–24 who are going through cancer treatment, helping to make what is an incredibly difficult time just that little bit easier. From practical support to memorable experiences and opportunities to connect with others going through similar experiences, like Tabs, they are there when young people need them most. 🧡🩷🧡
