Office Administrator (Owner-Led SME)
Salary: National Living Wage, £12.61/hr (if over 20)
Location: Sale (On-site, part-time – 9.30am-2.30pm, M-F)
Reports to: Owner
Requirement: You must have experience working in a busy customer-facing service business.

The Opportunity
We’re hiring a hands-on, high-calibre Office Administrator to carry out the day-to-day tasks that keep our business moving. This is not a corporate administration role where you are tucked away in a back office; you will be close to the detail, juggling multiple tasks, and bringing a calm, organised approach to a busy environment.
You’ll work directly with the Founder and the current Office Manager as a vital part of our support team. As the business scales, this role is expected to evolve and grow, offering a genuine path for professional development.
Key Responsibilities
If you’ve been the administration heart of an owner-led business at a similar scale, you’ll already know what needs doing. You will be confident managing the "operational heartbeat" of the office, including:
Office Ownership: Owning the day-to-day administration and general office work.
Customer Interaction: Answering the phone and resolving customer questions with a positive attitude.
Workflow Management: Booking work into the company system and sending quotes to customers.
Financial Support: Carrying out basic bookkeeping tasks using Xero.
About You
Essential
Experience: Proven background in a fast-moving, customer-facing service environment.
Organisation: Strong organisational skills with the ability to bring order to a busy office.
Communication: Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
IT Literacy: Comfortable using company booking systems and standard office software.
Xero accounting software: Previous experience or knowledge of the Xero accounting system.
Personal Attributes
Hands-on and systems-minded.
Calm under pressure and adept at multi-tasking.
Conscientious with a strong "customer-first" attitude.
Good phone skills, comfortable taking customer calls
