๐ข Important Update Regarding Payments
To all of our valued customers,
Due to an increasing number of cancellations, non-collections, and situations where completed orders are being ignored once the work has been finished, we have made the difficult but necessary decision to update our payment policy.
From now on, full payment will be required before any work is started.
This is not a decision we have taken lightly, but unfortunately we have experienced too many cases where time, materials, and effort have been invested into custom orders, only for customers to cancel last minute or fail to respond once their items are completed and ready for payment.
As a small business, every order involves:
* Time and careful planning
* Materials purchased specifically for your item
* Labour and attention to detail
* Storage space while items are being prepared and awaiting collection
We always do our very best to keep our prices as low and fair as possible for our customers, even though supplier costs and material prices continue to rise. We understand how important affordability is, and we work hard to absorb as much of those increases as we can without constantly passing them on.
However, when we experience issues such as cancelled orders, customers not collecting items, or completed work being ignored when payment is due, it can have a serious detrimental effect on our business. Not only does it leave us out of pocket for materials and time already spent, but it also impacts cash flow, delays other work, and makes it much harder for us to continue offering competitive pricing to our genuine and loyal customers.
By taking full payment upfront, this will help us to:
* Protect the business from avoidable financial losses
* Ensure commitment on custom and made-to-order items
* Continue offering a reliable and professional service
* Keep turnaround times smoother and more efficient for everyone
* Maintain fair pricing wherever possible despite increasing supplier costs
This new policy is simply about protecting the business and ensuring we can continue to provide the service, quality, and pricing that our customers value.
We truly appreciate all of our loyal customers who support us, respect the work that goes into each order, and understand why this step has become necessary.
Thank you for your understanding, continued support, and for helping us keep our small business moving forward.
