It’s one of my favourite seasons ~ Autumn and soup season!! With the gorgeous colours in the trees 🍁🍃🍂 harvests of home grown veggies 🥕🍅🍆🧄🧅🌽 and sooooo many soups to choose from on the Cookidoo recipe database!! A gorgeous friend gave me a pumpkin from her allotment so I searched Cookidoo and found a curry, ginger and pumkin recipe. Mexican Night on a week night!!! Chicken mince fajita wraps with guacamole 🥑 ~ homemade fajita seasoning with no nasty caking agents or preservatives just herbs and spices from my rack and ground exactly to the flavour we love. PLUS guacamole… all whipped up in the Thermomix…I felt so virtuous being able to pull together this delicious meal as I walked through the door from work. Chicken mince, wraps and an avocado were my base ingredients and Cookidoo helped me make the rest of my decisions 🙌🏻 - no stress, no nasties, homemade and everyone had a smile on their face for the end of the day…winner!!! There is a regular coffee morning, every Friday at 11am at the studio in Southampton. The power of the Thermomix ~ at 10,200 RPM and just 500 watts of power it is outstanding for grinding, blending and milling. One gadget it definitely replaces in the kitchen is a blender, from a hand held blender through to the portable blenders. I make all my smoothies in it and they always turn out smooth, no lumps left at the bottom and I never have to re-blend or shake the pot for a 2nd time to get the right texture…perfect consistency every time.
