The power of the Thermomix ~ at 10,200 RPM and just 500 watts of power it is outstanding for grinding, blending and milling. One gadget it definitely replaces in the kitchen is a blender, from a hand held blender through to the portable blenders. I make all my smoothies in it and they always turn out smooth, no lumps left at the bottom and I never have to re-blend or shake the pot for a 2nd time to get the right texture…perfect consistency every time. Bath Half Marathon ✅😮‍💨🥳 ~ so pleased to say that I managed to complete the Bath Half Marathon today! I didn’t set out to run it as a personal goal but to raise money for however, the challenge of the distance and training turned into a huge personal challenge with the end result giving something back to Dorothy House who did so much for my Dad and our family for his end of life care last year. Happy New Year!!!
No New Year’s resolutions here, just a focus on looking after our health. I’m removing as many nasty ingredients as possible, creating happy moments wherever I can, staying consistent, and reducing stress.

Planning, preparing, staying focused, and utilising the tools I already have is where I’m starting and that’s where my Thermomix comes into play.

The 1st of January always feels like a clean slate for me. I’ve enjoyed my Christmas treats, and now it’s back to consistency. My planner is written for next week (travelling on Monday 😉), all ingredients have been ordered via the shopping list and online ordering facility, and they’ll be delivered Monday evening.
I’m focusing on protein and fibre with every meal. Cookidoo has so many fantastic recipe collections to choose from, so I’ve mixed the week up with a combination of meat and plant-based meals.
