Here's a couple of jobs done in the past week or so.

First up, a wee exterior job for a buisness that is based on Saltcoats, and one my wee doggo attends. A couple of walls were scraped of loose flaking paint, and sealed then filled with a skim coat of exterior filler. Then all walls were given 2 coats of coats of Dulux trade weather shield in cornish cream. A wee bit of black woodwork was scraped off, and sanded and given 2 coats of exterior matt by hammerite.
Nice fresh look fir all the wee doggos that enjoy their days here.

Secondly is a job fir a repeat customer, I'm always happy to do work fir. A small sitting room. Ceiling prepped and given 2 coats of Dulux trade ultra matt in white. All walls werefilled/sanded and prepped and given 2 coats of Dulux Heritage in Pumice brown. All woodwork was sanded, /caulked and given a undercoat then finished with 2 full coats of Scuff X Satin in super white. A small porch area was also completed but forgot to get pics of that,🙄🙄😭

Job completed this weekend. A living room,freshened up. Ceiling prepped /sanded and given 2 coats of Dulux trade ultra matt in white, 3 walls prepped/filled and sanded and given 2 coats of Dulux trade ultra matt in white, new brand by Dulux, gives a dead flat finish but still has durability and wipe able. All woodwork sanded /prepped and given a undercoat then finished with 2 full coats of Scuff X Satin in super white. Remaining wall prepped and wallpapered with chosen wall paper.

Whilst I'm on my page, I'm just going to mention to anyone waiting for me to carry out work, I am a wee bit behind, due to a couple of personal things, but what's impacted my diary the most is the weather. 😭😭😭😭

I'm currently trying to get a exterior contract job completed, but weather isn't playing to my favor, as usual, but I need to get this exterior finished before 20th of August, once that is done ill be happy. 😁😁

A few jobs carried out by Jays Decorating this week. Mainly carrying out wallpapering. Walls were stripped of old wallpaper where required, walls then prepped /filled and sanded then wall paper applied.

Final pics are of a living room for a great client, who I'd done a few bedrooms for.

Ceiling was prepped/filled and sanded and given 2 coats of Dulux trade ultra matt in white. All walls were prepped /filled and sanded and given 2 coats of Dulux Heritage, colour matched into good home cancun. All woodwork sanded /prepped and given a undercoat of Johnstones Aqua guard then finished with 2 full coats of Scuff X Satin in super white

Here's a few pics of jobs carried out, over the past few weeks by myself. All products used were Dulux trade, whether it be Heritage, which is my go to, or Dulux Diamond satin in chosen Scuff X Satin, Johnstones Aqua guard range, or other materials which I work with to give best finish possible.

But this week I'm on holiday with my family, except my daughter 🤣🤣.still got quotes amd dates to arrange, joys of been self employed 🤣🤣, but been off the tools for a week is a big enough boost for me, and getting to spend time with my family ❤️❤️

A couple of walls papered over the past few days, including a ceiling which was papered with a woodchip effect paper. All walls and ceiling were prepped/sanded and sized before been papered.

Also a bedroom carried out over the past couple of days, ceiling prepped /sanded two coats of Dulux Heritage in pale nutmeg, 2 walls prepped /sanded and given 2 coats of Dulux Heritage in soft truffle, remaining walls prepped/sanded and wallpapered with chosen wall paper. All woodwork sanded /prepped and given a undercoat then finished with 2 full coats of Scuff X Satin in super white

I've not posted anything on buisness page for a while............. So here's a few pics of some jobs carried out

First is my biggest project finally finished and got my evenings back 🤣, but it was a pleasure to carry out the work and really enjoyed doing the work. The dustless sanding equipment definately got a good work out 🤣, materials used were Armstead trade contract matt on Ceilings, Caparol Amphibolin on walls and panneled sections and doors, a d Johnstones Aqua guard undercoat and Gloss on door frames and window surrounds.

Other jobs were carried out using my usual method of attack, Dulux trade ultra matt in white, Dulux Heritage or Diamond matt in chosen colour on walls. Then all woodwork had a coat of Johnstones Aqua guard undercoat /primer followed by 2 coats of Scuff x

Walls were lined prior to been painted on some jobs,

All usual prep work was carried out on each job, filling, sanding, caulking, and any priming done
