Please be aware that ALL stalls are booked, if you see any posts suggesting otherwise they are scammers! For those who have never been, it is a golden opportunity to meet a wide range of local artists, crafters and makers, all under one roof and offers the perfect chance to purchase unique and locally made Christmas gifts at affordable prices. We are privileged to have so many talented people living in our small village, you'll be able to find practical items, decorative pieces and works of fine art - ranging from wood to ceramic, wax to silver, photography to paintings, and fabric to natural materials all reflecting their distinct personalities and passions. Giving this year's event even greater appeal will be the launch of renowned and well-respected local author Reggie Oliver's new book 'This Haunted Heaven'. All of the makers will be donating to celebrated villager Manette Baillie's charity fund, benefitting the Motor Neurone Disease Association, the East Anglian Air Ambulance and the Benhall and Sternfield Ex-Servicemen's Club. Manette recently completed a sky dive to celebrate her 102nd birthday! Whether you are a regular visitor to this event, or whether you'll be coming for the first time, the Made in Benhall makers are looking forward to welcoming you on 1st December (10.30 - 2.30) at Benhall Club, where you will also be able to purchase seasonal refreshments from the bar.

Made In Benhall IS BACK on Sunday 6 December 10am-2pm! Once again it's in the Benhall Village Social Club and will be an ideal opportunity to support local artists, creatives and makers while finding those unique Christmas gifts. There will also be delicious seasonal food and mulled w**e in Manette's Bar. This is always a really fun day, so why not join us?

A percentage of the profits will be donated to the Suffolk Wildlife Trust in memory of Paddy Dean who was a regular exhibitor at Made in Benhall.

There will be eight local creatives in the main hall and we'll be highlighting each of them over the coming weeks.

Selina Axtell finds crafting to be very therapeutic and satisfying. She enjoys making pure beeswax candles, which smell delightful, and decorative bunting to brighten any home. These would make ideal small and inexpensive gifts.

We start with John Axtell who makes well-designed, robust and long-lasting wooden products for wildlife to nest or hibernate in. If you want to encourage birds, bats, bees, butterflies or other wildlife to share your garden they will be grateful to you for providing them with suitable homes.
