Tonight's creation! Cider Pheasant Casserole
Sweet, tangy and tasty, and on these winter nights so so comforting ❤️
Shallots & smoked garlic, lean bacon lardons sautéed In butter, pour in most of a 500ml bottle of a nice cider (finish the rest over ice! Yum) boil of the alcohol. Add a lovely chicken stock some chanteray carrots and celery. (Pour a another glass for yourself and enjoy)
Sear the pheasant on all sides then add to the casserole dish, some nice fresh sage. Sliced apple and shove it in the oven nice and slow ! Perfection
