Gfp Home Heating has been a well established family business for nearly 30 years. My name is Lewis and i have worked for GFP for 14 years, i am now running my own business that deals with all of the fire and fireplace fitting involved with GFP.

Good morning folks.
I would just like to address the topic of retrospective sign offs on Installations, as I seem to be getting asked quite a lot lately. Unfortunately I dont inspect and sign off Installations that I haven't done, as once we do this the whole Installation becomes my responsibility and if an issue occurs, then it will negatively affect my business and possibly lose my certification. If an Installation has been done without it been signed off, then it potentially shouldn't have been done in the first place, as sign offs by accredited firms have been in place for over 25 years. The best bet for having an Installation signed off after the fact, would be to contact your local authority and ask for one of their inspectors to sign it off. Always happy to be working on new Installations of course. 🙂🔥🔥

"Nowt" to something in 2 and half days 😄, no chimney no problem. We constructed a steel stud, false chimney breast, twin wall flue system, hand cut Black riven slate hearth, brick slips rear wall, non combustible beam and WP5 stove, and everything in between 🥵 before and after pics.

Completed today. Before and after pics.We removed this very dangerous install, with wood beam touching the flue outlet, on the massive 16kw stove, which had just been stuck up the chimney with no seal or liner. Wood Beam had been on fire at some point😲😲. We ripped it all out, fitted a new concrete lintel, new closure plate, lined the flue, custom cut and fitted a Brazilian riven slate hearth, fitted a non combustible beam and the popular ACR Stoves Woodpecker WP5 plus, multi fuel stove.🥵🔥🔥🔥🤩

Busy season seems to be well under way, just a few more recently finished.1st one we refreshed an install we originally did a few years back, by brick tiling the chamber and re-tiling the hearth and fitting a non combustible beam. 2nd one is also brick tiles with an Arada Stoves solution 4, bioethanol stove. And oak beam. 3rd one was done using customers own up cycled casting and hearth tiles, with a Little Hobbit stove.

Couple of installs recently finished. 1st one we opened up the recess and rendered the walls, with a grey riven stone hearth hearth and the ever popular WP5 plus stove, with Focus Fireplaces Trade resin cast beam. also lined chimney and fitted new pot. 2nd one was custom cut Brazilian slate hearth, and split face black tile recess, with customers own limestone surround. We also supplied the Stovax and Gazco County 5 wide stove.
