A massive well done to all of our little learners this summer! 👏🌟🧶

It's been so lovely to see so many of you getting started on your crochet journeys! Learning to chain, to granny square and seeing your joy when it clicks!

I know a lot of children are wanting to learn crochet and if parents don't crochet themselves, it's hard to help them get started, and our crochet workshops can be a bit overwhelming for children to sit and focus for 2 and a half hours in an evening, so I opened my table for some free crochet help!

It was lovely to meet you all and I love seeing your progress! 🧶

Keep an eye out for more drop ins in future school holidays! 💙

Just a note to say there's a bit of a play around with the hours this week, I'll be closed Thursday and Saturday BUT I'll be open on Sunday instead!
All back to normal the week after 💙

7th Monday - Closed
8th Tuesday - 10am til 4pm
9th Wednesday - 10am til 4pm
10th Thursday - Closed
11th Friday - 10am til 4pm
12th Saturday - Closed
13th Sunday - 10am til 4pm

Well I think that's it for my recap of the Stitching Fair! Thanks for bearing with me while I shared about each part of the day!

I don't think I quite thought about the aftermath of planning a big event. Every second beforehand was thinking about the day itself! I didn't realise how long it would take me to put the shop back together (I haven't, there's still boxes I haven't opened!), and catching up with everything, sorry if I still haven't got around to replying to your email, feel free to give me a nudge! 🙈

I think I'm finally getting there though! The shop is looking nice and full of stock!
I've got an announcement coming 9am Monday! Bet you can't guess what that is 😅🎉
And then, you may have seen a bit of a hint on my stories, I'm also taking part in the North Yorkshire Yarn Trail this month! So I will tell you more about that soon! 💙

✨️ The Venue ✨️

I wanted to hold the Stitching Fair at Scarborough Spa as I wanted the setting to be a part of the day too.
We couldn't have asked for better with the weather! No heatwave, no rain, and stunning views 💙

Thank you so much to Richard and all the staff at the Spa, nothing was ever too much. They were a pleasure to work with 👏

A bonus was having the Scarborough Spa Orchestra playing too as we opened! It really added to the atmosphere of the day! 💙

📸 The pic I used for the background of the flyers and stallholder announcements, I took on a frosty December morning in 2020! Who'd have known I'd be using it all these years later to advertise an event I was having there! 😅
