As we get closer to opening Holleigh’s Bakehouse & Ceramics, I’m working out the best opening hours for you lovely lot ☕️🎨🍰

I already have an idea of what our opening hours will look like, but rather than just guessing, I’d love to know when you would actually be most likely to visit us.

Whether that’s popping in for a morning coffee and cake, an afternoon pottery session, after school with the kids, or after work — your answers will really help me plan our opening hours around the people who’ll actually be using the space 🥰

The Bake Shed is OPEN 🩷🍰

For those of you who are new here, this little shed is where it all started 🥹 An honesty shed in my front garden, filled with homemade treats — and somehow it’s now led to me opening an actual shop!

Stock is a little limited at the moment because, as you can imagine, most of my spare time is being spent covered in paint and renovating the new place 😂 But there are still a few treats available if you fancy popping by.

A little behind the scenes admin day today 💻☕️

A little update from tonight 🤍

Lots more painting, lots of yawning, plenty of “my back hurts” and somehow even more bruises appearing 😂

But every evening it’s starting to look a little bit more like the place I’ve had in my head for so long, and I just know all of this hard work is going to feel SO worth it when I finally get to see it filled with all of you lot 🥹

Tonight’s exciting addition — my bespoke handmade chalkboard signs, made by my very talented dad, ready for me to handwrite all of our menus on 🖌️☕️🍰

There’s still plenty to do… but we’re getting there 🤍

What do we think of the chalkboards?! 👀

Last night’s contribution was a pear & cinnamon crumble with custard and I’m officially declaring autumn baking season OPEN. 🍂🤎

There’s just something about a warm crumble and custard when the evenings start getting a little cooler 🥹

Well this has absolutely made my afternoon 🥹🩷

The lovely little Willow has just dropped off this gorgeous artwork for our community display at Holleigh’s Bakehouse & Ceramics… and she even made me a little paint pot and brushes!! 🎨😭

How incredibly creative is this?! I absolutely love all the little details and I genuinely cannot wait to have this proudly displayed in the shop.

Thank you so much Willow — our very first piece of community artwork and it’s already made me so excited to see this display come together 🥹🧁☕️🎨

Little appreciation post for my very talented Dad 🥹🤍

He’s making me this beautiful sign ready for me to hand paint the Holleigh’s Bakehouse & Ceramics logo onto it, and I already know it’s going to be one of my favourite little details in the shop.

So much of this renovation has been made possible by my Dad just saying “we’ll make it work” and getting stuck in with every random idea I come up with 😂

Very lucky to have him with me turn this little dream into something real🤍
