Saying goodbye to the very last of the Dahlias this week 💔
It’s been a challenging one given the weather but my goodness our flower patch has been pretty mighty this season. Introducing another 13 varieties & doubling the size of the patch was a pretty ballsy choice for people who have so little time & such busy lives - but we grew some true beauties even if they didn’t get all the care they needed. The big dig up and store will be happening soon ready to potentially move location next year 🤫 Thank you to everyone who let me brag about how wonderful some of them were and marvel with me at the bees and their crazy hybrid creations, to the brides who enjoyed them in their bouquets & to the BIG Dahlia fans who let me deal them out like some kind of exclusive secret product.
See you next year VIP Dahlia fans 😘

My handwriting may not be the neatest but at least you know I chose the words, spent the time & put a little care into it.
All the info you need! I LOVED every class last year & can’t wait to show more of you the fun things you can do with wreaths, top up your glasses & dish up the best cheesecake in the land.

SO many great workshops out there but sadly there is also so much ai slop advertising them so maybe, the one written in sharpie, with brown paper stuck to some gorgeous locally designed wrapping paper, with a real photo of a real wreath I actually made, might stand out in the sea of samey posters 🫶🏻

Sometimes it’s nice to make a thing - just because.
Running a business is wild! Currently wearing all the hats & trying to complete the work requirements of about 7 different job roles. (All whilst still trying to be a semi decent mum 😅)
I will never, not give each and every thing asked from me my full attention & effort. Every email appropriately worded and personable, every bouquet lovingly hand built, every bucket deep cleaned, scrubbed & sterilised.
I want to do it all but sometimes it gets a little overwhelming & it is easy to forget the joy in just getting creative. So this afternoon, I found a little peaceful moment in making this. She wasn’t ordered, no brief in mind and she’s definitely not finished. But I think she’s perfect and has given me some much needed brain silencing 🧘🏼‍♀️
There’s plans ticking over for some gentle flower classes & maybe we can squeeze one or two in before silly season. Do you think you would enjoy some flower therapy before all the mad shopping & planning starts?
