Last week we were in Seaford with some Beech parquet flooring, you can see from the grey patches that the previous finish had worn through and the rest looked very dull, we've taken it back to bare wood, smoothed out the poor previous sanding, filled all the gaps, then finished it with a coat of Morrells GP solvent based primer to add a little depth to the wood, before 3 coats of Morrells xl1 in a Matt finish.

Last week we were working in Seaford bringing some teak mosaic parquet flooring back to life, the floors previous owner had painted it a dark brown colour hiding all it's natural beauty, we have brought out the natural colours in the wood and applied 4 coats of Matt finish for long lasting protection.

It's been a couple of weeks since fitting this floor in Lyndhurst road in Hove, these are solid oak prime and tumbled parquet blocks in 230 X 70 X 22mm fitted in a herringbone pattern with a 2 blocks border and a couple of zoning borders running across the floor, these pictures show it unfinished, once the remaining works have been finished, we will be applying 3 coats of Treatex hard wax oil.
