About me & Enchanting Fragrances ✨
Hi, I'm Kirsty, the face behind Enchanting Fragrances. 🧚♀️
Six years ago, during one of the darkest and most difficult times in my life, I was struggling with severe depression.
My fiancé bought me a little wax melt-making kit, never knowing quite where that simple gift would lead.
I was already completely addicted to wax melts and loved filling my home with beautiful fragrances, so the idea of being able to make my own was something I couldn't resist.
I fell in love with it.
What started as a hobby quickly became something much more.
I began experimenting, creating and designing, and before long my little hobby had grown into Enchanting Fragrances.
Today, six years on, my fiancé and I work together to create over 20 different home and body fragrance products, from candles and wax products to body care, bath and shower products, car and home fragrances and so much more.
Some of my personal favourites are our Exfoliating Soap Sponges, Candles and Face Scrub — and they're not just favourites because I make them. I genuinely use them myself every day. ❤️
One of the things I love most about what I do is knowing exactly what goes into the products we make. I care about what we put on our skin, and I love being able to choose our ingredients and create products that I am genuinely happy to use myself.
And then there's the creative side.
I love taking an idea in my head and turning it into something real — designing a product, choosing the fragrance, creating the look and watching it all come together.
There's something incredibly special about that process.
Our little business is based in the beautiful seaside town of Selsey, West Sussex, but we post our products all over the country. 🌊📦
The name Enchanting Fragrances comes from another huge part of who I am.
I'm completely addicted to all things Disney and anything magical and fairy-related, so the name just felt perfect. 🧚♀️✨
The last couple of years haven't always been easy.
I've lived with stage 4 Endometriosis since I was 13, and more recently I've faced further challenges with my health. Last year I've been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and I'm currently going through investigations for another possible condition, MS.
Some days I can walk unaided. Other days I need my walking stick, and on my really bad days I need a wheelchair.
I've now accepted that I am disabled, but one thing I refuse to give up is Enchanting Fragrances.
This business is so much more than making and selling fragrance products to me.
It gave me something during one of the darkest periods of my life.
It gave me creativity when I needed something to focus on.
It gave me something to be proud of.
And today, it continues to be one of the things that keeps me going.
