Another re shuffle on the shop floor and I am ready to give this antique Early Edition Ercol Cocktail/Buffet court cabinet some serious makeover consideration.

This piece has some fantastic carved detailing and apart from a few scratches /cup marks on the cupboard top, it is in really good condition and has been very well looked after.

It does need updating, but it also needs preserving to appreciate it's character & history. Well, thinking head on.

So, I agreed this beautiful piece needed to be brought into today's lifestyle, I was reluctant to spoil the originality , so I came to a makeover compromise.

I hope you all like her as much as I do, just a perfect bedroom dressing table, deep drawers, tri fold full length mirror and linen fold cabinet panels. This Vintage carved Oak Dressing table would grace any home.

Now available on the shop floor and onto my next project 😉

Just in on the shop floor and awaiting a new home to grace, it's this stunning Louis XVI French Armoire.

Originally all shelved, it now has two heavy shelves and the addotion of a full rail.

The French were the winners of the 1800's international furniture exhibition where the original idea of flat pack furniture was started. Hence, this beautiful peice can be disembled and rassembled very easily for relocation, if required.

Happy Friday everyone

The time has come to light those open fires and log burners, we have the perfect accompaniment, This black metal log storage with its own companion set included. Absolute bargain at £20.

Another day of moving pieces around to find space for a very beautiful French Armoire.

Happy Thursday everyone

A Big a thank you to all of last weeks customers. Shop deliveries have gone out.

Just a note all mainland deliveries are being collected 6th November for you wonderful over the pond people.

The Oak dressing table was an initial make over project, but now it's polished up it looks too beautiful .

The Court cupboard again what to do with this classic cocktail, buffet sideboard?

The shop has now been re shuffled once again to accommodate the wonderful pieces we have for sale.

Thank you to the lovely lady who bought the beautiful linen press , we have space to fill with more treasured items waiting in the wings.

Just available now, this very sweet, Grand daughters Bentime pendulum and chiming clock. What Clock lover does not have room for this?

With large items now delivered to their new homes , it is a day of furniture moving and other pieces coming onto the shop floor.

Available now is this lovely Antique Oak painted small linen press, perfect for even the modern home. A sort after size of only 3 fr wide, 18 " deep and 4'1" high.

Also one for the lovers of the test of time durability of Lloyd Loom a wonderful L***y Gold Linen basket.
