I’ve been to the wonderful The Delightful Touch in Hillsborough to put a couple of new and newish paintings up there: Autumn at Dam Flask and Rivelin valley Park. Also had the most delicious coffee and walnut cake made by Natalie which I can’t recommend highly enough ❤️

My new painting, Rivelin Valley Park! Let me know what you think.
As always, I’ve tried to include all the things I love about the area; buying the kids ice creams from the van or cafe, taking them to the playground, sitting on the chair in the river, the allotments, the toilets (truly lovely for middle aged ladies), a quick pint in the Holly Bush. Yes I know it’s not geographically accurate but that’s for another painting. Hope you like it!

Geordie mollusc music legend Clam Fender was discovered in the sea close to North Shields, and immediately won over hearts with his gritty tales of working class life under the sea. A lifelong Newcastle United fan, he is often seen on the terraces trying to avoid being accidentally squashed by a meat and potato pie.

Surprise a Sam Fender fan (or mollusc fan) with this greeting card on their birthday, or just to annoy them! Available from my website , Etsy, and the amazing The Green Shop NOW!

Big thanks to Walkley Events Collective for having me at last weeks Art in the Aisles event in Walkley. I met lots of great artists and locals who were Interested my work, and had delicious cake. What more could you ask? I know how much work they must put in to make it all happen and I’m really grateful to them for including me. Here’s their next event:

Michael Quackson started performing as part of the Quackson 5 with his siblings. Initially believing he was an ugly duckling, his talent as a truly gifted singer and dancer shone through, and he became The Duck of Pop! However he started to believe he was actually a beautiful swan, changing his appearance with multiple surgeries by Quacks only too happy to take his riches. He also had a best friend who was a monkey.
Brighten up the day of a Michael fan by sending them this card on their birthday , special occasion, or just to offend them! Available now from the fantastic The Green Shop, my website and Etsy! Shamone!
