In collaboration with the incredibly talented Tom and Sophie at Dibujo Interiors, we were delighted to bring this exceptional kitchen to life for a wonderful client.
Conceived as the architectural heart of a newly refurbished family home, this bespoke kitchen is a considered study in balance — where timeless craftsmanship meets contemporary elegance, and every element has been designed with both beauty and everyday living in mind.
From the outset, the intention was to create more than simply a kitchen. The space needed to feel effortless, welcoming and enduring; a room that could adapt naturally to the rhythm of family life, from quiet mornings and relaxed breakfasts to evenings spent cooking, entertaining and gathering together.
At the centre of the design sits a beautifully stained oak island, providing both a strong architectural focal point and a natural place for people to come together. Handcrafted cabinetry, integrated banquette seating and a bespoke breakfast station complete the composition, creating a harmonious open-plan environment that seamlessly connects cooking, dining and entertaining.
Every detail has been carefully considered — from the proportions and material palette through to the functionality of each individual element. The result is a space that feels beautifully understated, yet quietly distinctive; refined without being formal, and designed to become even more beautiful with time.
Ultimately, this is what exceptional kitchen design should achieve: a space where craftsmanship and architecture support the way people actually live.
A kitchen made not simply to be admired, but to be lived in, shared and enjoyed for years to come.
