There's a new competitor in the race for the worlds first flying taxi. UK-based start-up plan to provide personal, on-demand and carbon-free air travel between cities within four years.

Vertical Aerospace is aiming to revolutionise short-haul travel by giving people the "freedom to fly from their local neighbourhood, directly to their destination". The prototype aircraft has already took off and flew unassisted across Cotswold Airport.
