Hello friends and followers….yesterday I posted this and it received really positive feedback and lots of likes and comments. Today I clicked another post to add it to my profile and it wiped this completely for absolutely no reason! I was mortified as it was such a positive post for me! This has reminded me why I find navigating this platform such a ball ache! 🤯🤯

Well apparently everyone on here loves to see people bare their souls so here I am baring mine! I’ve had quite a few requests of late for micro wedding flowers. Couples on a budget who want a more intimate and understated wedding or perhaps want to get involved in creating arrangements themselves. So let me introduce to you the Pink Ginger Micro wedding package!

You can add extras to the package if you like and choose your own colour palate too.

For larger weddings I do need to keep to my £700 minimum spend as these can involve additional set up, travel and delivery costs too, but If you are looking for a more low key vibe then this could be the package for you 😄

As a florist or any wedding supplier it’s important to build positive relationships with venues and other fellow suppliers. Last year I was approached by Serena from Dashery events at a wedding fair at the Hospitium in York. She was looking for like-minded suppliers to be involved in a styled shoot, highlighting the importance of making your wedding a safe and accessible space for all guests.

Serena pictured the shoot being vibrant & drenched in colour with disco vibes. I didn’t need another excuse to get my collection of glitter balls out of the loft! I was completely on board!! 🪩

When I started out as a wedding florist in 2013, accessibility and inclusivity was always a bit of an afterthought. Today things are definitely improving, but we’ve still got a long way to go. Companies like Dashery events hope to make your search for accessible and inclusive wedding suppliers enjoyable and stress free.

Last week Craig from took these gritty, high flash promotional photos for me at our local social club in Saltaire. We had planned to do a styled shoot inspired by the New Romantic movement which started off in the London’s Blitz club in 1979. Sadly our model was unwell so we had to rethink. We are pleased to say that we are planning to reschedule this shoot. Looking forward to sharing lots of fantastic images when we do 👠🚬🍷🌹🖤💋💄🎩

Today our model was poorly 😟 so the shoot didn’t go quite as planned. Hoping to reschedule 🤞🏻but we decided to crack on regardless and do some floral still lifes down at our local social club.
