As both a premier Shropshire timber merchant and bespoke furniture maker, we source and kiln-dry a variety of native species, including Oak, Elm, Sycamore, Cherry, Walnut, Ash, London Plane, Yew, Beech and Burr variants. Do you know how to stop people scrolling and get them through the front door? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

We're looking for a Social Media Content Creator to help grow our small family-run live edge timber business and drive new customers to our physical shop.

🪵 About the Role

Around 10 hours per week

Create engaging content for our social media channels

Visit our shop regularly to capture photos and videos

Plan, create and publish content that increases organic reach and engagement

Help showcase our unique timber stock, furniture projects and behind-the-scenes content

✅ What We're Looking For

A solid understanding of social media marketing and how to engage audiences

Experience using Meta Business Suite and other social media management tools

The ability to prove your skills by demonstrating previous results or examples of successful organic content

Someone local who can visit the shop regularly

Self-motivated with excellent time management and able to work independently

Someone who understands that we're a small family business operating in a niche market and can adapt content to suit our brand and audience

📍 Location

Based near Shrewsbury, with regular visits to our timber shop required.
