Convince me this isn’t better than something mass-produced…

A beautifully timeworn bank of drawers, built from solid timber and carrying every knock, mark and scratch with pride. Nothing perfectly polished. Nothing pretending to be new. Just proper craftsmanship, incredible storage and the kind of character you simply can’t manufacture.

Styled in a contemporary room, it doesn’t feel old-fashioned at all. It feels collected, considered and completely unique.

Would you use it in a kitchen, home office, hallway or living room?

Old furniture just does it better. 🤎

Solid timber. Proper craftsmanship. Beautiful imperfections. And stories that began long before any of us came along.

These are the pieces we’d choose over brand-new furniture every single time—not because they’re perfect, but because they have character, history and the kind of quality that was made to last.

The pine cupboard, the timeworn table, the one-of-a-kind armchair or the storage that’s already survived several lifetimes…

Which one would you take home?

Storage… but make it 200 years better.

Not all drawers are created equal, once you live with antique storage, you never go back.

Each of these chests has lived a full life before arriving here; built for country houses, farm kitchens, dressing rooms and estate corridors — made properly, made patiently, and made to last centuries, not seasons.

From warm Georgian mahogany to honest pine and beautifully worn oak, every piece brings something different:
• character you can’t fake
• craftsmanship you can feel
• and storage that actually works for modern life.

Because the best interiors aren’t bought all at once…
they’re collected.

Sunday styling & laundry cupboard goals 🤍

Who says the utility room can’t be beautiful?
This Victorian estate cupboard from Belvoir.co is the ultimate answer to serious storage with soul.

Originally designed for grand 19th-century households, this authentic utilitarian estate piece brings together panelled linen cupboards, deep frieze drawers and sliding doors in one beautifully considered form. The upper cupboards were made for fresh linens, household supplies and tableware, while the generous drawers offer perfect depth for folded towels, sheets and textiles. Below, the sliding panelled doors conceal spacious storage — ideal for laundry baskets, pantry goods or larger household essentials, with the space-saving design a favourite in Victorian service areas and estate corridors.

Finished in a softly timeworn paint, the patina and character speak of a life well lived — architectural, practical and quietly grand. Commanding in scale yet effortlessly liveable, it’s a natural anchor for laundry rooms, boot rooms, kitchens, utility spaces, hallways and country interiors.

Built not for show, but for life — and still doing its job beautifully today.

Sunday styling ✨ | Island goals | Perfect storage | Rustic charm

This beautiful country kitchen moment is all about timeless function meeting characterful design 🤍
At the heart of it sits this superb Edwardian pine workbench, dating to circa 1920, now reimagined as a kitchen island — and honestly, we’re a little bit obsessed.

Crafted from thick, well-seasoned pine, this piece was made to work hard. Its deeply patinated surface tells a story of decades of use, giving it that unmistakable, honest charm you simply can’t replicate. Originally built for utility rather than show, here it brings warmth, texture and soul to a modern country kitchen.

Simple basket storage adds both practicality and beauty, making it perfect for everyday living — proof that the best kitchens are the ones that feel lived in.

✨ Rustic. Functional. Full of character.
