**"SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT***.
UPDATE - Workshops will take place in the old Clarks store on Rismans Place.
We are delighted to announce that Purple Phoenix Pottery CIC will have workshops taking place at the Workington Christmas Light Switch On Event later this month!
With the cooperation of Workington Town Council, we will be running 4 "Make Your Own Elf Door" pottery workshops on 29th November 2025!
* Create you and your family's very own Christmas elf door, made from scratch!
*Get hands on with clay for a fun and festive experience!
* Take home something that you and your family can cherish as a special decoration, made by your family, for your family!
Best of all, the workshops are entirely free! We will provide all necessary materials and tools, and we will be there in person to help demonstrate and guide you through the process of creating your elf door!
We do ask for a £5 refundable deposit for booking in advance, which will be refunded when you attend the workshop - this is just to ensure that any spots that are booked are more likely to be attended, as non-attendance could waste an opportunity that somebody else may have wanted to take.
We ask that there is at least one adult per child that attends - if you are attending to accompany your child, then this will only count as one attendee and you will only need to pay the deposit for one attendee.
The exact location of the workshops is still to be determined, but we will share this with everybody closer to the time.
