A little bit of wool, a crochet hook and several thousand stitches later... meet Poppy!

My first chunky chenille creation, and I'm absolutely in love with how she's turned out!

There's just something magical about watching a pile of wool turn into something with so much personality!

Tell me I'm not the only one who gets ridiculously attached to their crochet makes?!

Everyone, meet Poppy the Unicorn! 🌸🦄

She's fluffy, she's fabulous, and she's one of TWO adorable sisters!

This was my very first time using chunky chenille wool, and I think I may have just found myself a new obsession!

I've absolutely loved bringing this little beauty to life, from her floppy ears and sweet little face to those gorgeous colourful curls and bright pink hooves!

And yes... Poppy has a sister! But I'm keeping her under wraps for just a little longer!

15 years of lighting a candle for our little angel.

15 years of watching that little flame flicker, wishing more than anything that she was still here with us.

Forever 17 months old, forever our chunky monkey fat face, forever loved and missed 💕

Tonight, as candles are lit all around the world, hers will shine brightly, just as it has every year.

For Olivia and all the precious babies and children who should still be here in their families' arms.

No matter how many years pass, a parents love never fades. Neither does the longing for just one more cuddle, one more smile, one more moment. ❤️
