There's something about a properly made loaf that no shop-bought bread can replicate.
This Artisan Bread by uses Carr's Strong Bread Flour for a crust that's crisp, a crumb that's soft and a base strong enough to hold whatever you put on top.
Try it as an open sandwich with avocado and poached egg for breakfast, or cream cheese and smoked salmon for lunch.

* Combine water, honey, salt and yeast in a stand mixer bowl, stir briefly and allow to sit for 10 mins until foamy
* Add flour and dough hook, mix on speed 1 to incorporate then speed 2 for 4 mins. Dough should release cleanly from the bowl. If sticky, add a little more flour
* Transfer to a floured board and shape into a round loaf
* Line a Dutch oven with scrunched greaseproof paper, place dough inside, cover with a tea towel and leave somewhere warm to rise for 45-50 mins
* Lift dough out by the paper, dust with flour and score your desired pattern
* Return to the Dutch oven, cover and leave to rise for a further 20 mins
* Position your oven shelf so the Dutch oven sits in the middle, then preheat to 220°C fan (428°F)
* After 20 mins, remove the tea towel, lid the Dutch oven and bake for 25 mins
*Remove the lid and bake for a further 15 mins
* Lift bread out onto a wire rack using the paper. Careful, it'll be hot! Allow to cool before cutting
