It is will great sadness that I am informing you the Tree House will not be reopening. It was a fantastic project made possible through the hard work and enthusiasm of a great team of volunteers.

Unfortunately too many issues collided at once and this resulted in an impossible situation, without a safe level of staffing it was impossible to remain open.

Many thanks to the volunteers and Makers who made it what it was.

Thank you to all the customers who gave it their support.

This will be the last post from the Tree House.

Today is our last day of trading for the Tree House ,a sad day but also one to celebrate all that has been achieved.
We would like to thank all our volunteers and makers without them nothing would be have been possible.
Thank you to Friends , customers and Colleague's for their continued support over the years.
The Friends of Sandy Lane Community Interest Company has achieved many things at Sandy Lane, such as the wonderfull mosaic feature made by artist Bernadette Hughes and the many individuals from the local community.
Not forgetting the imaginative creations of Matthew Roby and the great events that took place. So thank you to everyone who helped.

The Friends of Sandy Lane hope to continue securing resources for the area, so if you would like to join please get in touch.

We are sorry to inform all our friends, colleagues and customers that the Tree House will be closing on Thursday 25th October at 3pm.
We would like to thank all the volunteers, artists and customers who made it possible and helped it thrive and become the place it is today. We recognise the community bonds that have been made and hope they continue.
The Friends of SandyLane will continue to work in the area.
Please pop in next Thursday to help us celebrate all the amazing things that have been achieved over the last couple of years.

More volunteers are needed. In order to maintain the service provided we need more volunteers. If you are interested in a few hours a week, an admin role, a marketing role or a more developmental role. Please get in touch. Please note that the Tree House will be open Tuesday to Thursday next week. This is s community interst company, any profits go to increasing local resources.

The Tree House is a Community Interest Company run by the Friends of Sandy Lane and volunteers . We apologise for having to close with very short notice during August , unfortunately many of the staff have had circumstances that have coincided with the holiday period and we have had no alternative but to close. We hope to resume a normal service come September but are looking for more volunteers to improve service delivery.This is a non profit making enterprise any profits would go to improving local community resources. It is provided by the Friends of Sandy Lane and is not a Council Service. If you would like to volunteer please get in touch. Thank you
