When I got the fidget dragon pattern I noticed there was the bat pattern and just had to get it.

What better place to take a picture than Whitby during Goth weekend. Unfortunately We went on the most wet and miserable day ever. The added spookyness was great but You can't even see the Abbey.
Throughout Our visit She spent Her time hiding in My pocket and eventually was given the name Lilith.

My Friends son turned 6 and so I knew I had to make Him something fun.
I came across the pattern for this fidget dragon and knew I just had to.
I asked My friend for His son's favourite colours and got to work.
I have to admit I struggled to read the pattern but there are plenty of links to videos which was a huge help.
Will definitely be making more.....especially as this is the small one and I may have bought the pattern for the bigger one. There's also loads of add-ons to add more fun details.

I have had this Stitch coat for ages. It's one of My favourites. The zip has been dodgy since day 1 but I learnt to deal with it until the zip pull broke.
I decided that I can easily replace it.
Could I have got a simple navy blue zip to replace it with.....of course.....did I.....well of course not.
No no no I had to find a sparkly new zip pull and just happened to find one that was Stitch. Then realising You can get zips with different coloured teeth I had to get the one that matched the zip pull. Then to complicate things even further I found matching zip stoppers and added Them to.
The first attempt at the zip stoppers didn't go to well and I had to try again. All was okay until I zipped up the zip to match the sides ready to sew and one the stoppers fell off so I had to re do it yet again.
It's not fantastic but it does the job and now My zip is really pretty ✨

Having moved house I have walls I can decorate.
I decided to make this Mandala and although I'm proud of making it I'm not sure on the colour. Simply because it didn't get as light as I had hoped on the edges so matches My walls too much.
This is currently in the 'to think about' pile

As part of My mission to use up yarn I already have I decided to make some fingerless gloves out of the spare Grackle yarn and still have leftovers.

I have worn These gloves all through the Winter season. They have been put through Their paces and washed multiple times and still holding up great. The wool is still in great condition and the colours just as vibrant as when I received it.

Having made the socks with the Dark side of the Rainbow yarn I just had to ask if They would be open to making a custom colour way.
Not only Were They happy to make this Blue/Turquoise/Purple version but They have now added this colour way to Their Website and called it Grackle. I will definitely be buying more in the future.

I have been following for a while and fallen in love with the different coloured hand dyed yarns They offer. I particularly fell in love with Dark side of the Rainbow but didn't have the money or project to use it in.
I finally saved up money to buy some sock and DK weight.
So far I have made this pair of socks and I am in love. The yarn is so soft and the colours so vibrant.
I have yet to find a project for the DK weight

I love taking patterns and trying Them with different wool/hook sizes to see the difference.

Deer on the right is the original form the pattern made with DK wool and 3mm hook. Deer on left is made with chunky chenille yarn and 4.5mm hook.
