💜🎹 Hi everyone! Well I’m exhausted and resting tonight so I thought I’d post about my next piece of music I’m working on. It’s called ‘Rainmaker’ ☔️ 🧙‍♀️. He’s a pesky wizard who makes it rain every time we don’t need or want it to! He casts a spell and cackles happily away into the woods whilst we get drenched! He’s very annoying like that! 😂 ☔️🧙‍♀️
Anyway, I’m setting the scene and recording a backing track with drums and accompaniment to my next song in my ‘Piano through Glass’ series. I’m getting in character and have my little friends to help me… a mini me doll, made as a present for me in Orkney by a very clever lady 🥰 and the Rainmaker wizard and his spell bottle to make it rain. Lyrics below & music coming soon my lovelies. I may have a singer sorted for my songs to be recorded at college in August! Woohooo 🙌🎶🎹💜

Rainmaker ☔️🌧️⚡️🧙‍♀️

Midnight in the moonlight
Can you hear him coming through the misty night…

Raindrops fall, softly on the ground
Can you hear him coming
Casting his spell all around
And he won’t let up!
‘Till he gets you!

Chorus
Rainmaker!
He’s coming to get you
Rainmaker!
Ooh ooh

He looks in to the clear sky
His features contort into an evil smile
As he starts to chant…
A repeat of centuries past
A clap of thunder!
We run for cover
As the clouds burst! 🌧️

(Chorus)
Rainmaker!
He’s coming to get you
Rainmaker!

💜🧜‍♀️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💙What a mammoth month June is proving to be! Talk about chocca-block!😅 Tho I’m not complaining. I’m currently working on Eilean Donan Castle’s second order and have just packed Starry Skye’s glass for collection tomorrow. Lindisfarne Mead’s next week whilst trickling out a massive trinket dish Lighthouse order for Heartbox Scotland for the end of the month 💙🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. I still managed to glam up for my Maggie’s charity cheque presentation. Plus get my beautiful mermaid chair back from Larraine who has looked after her in Orkney for the past 3 & a half years! Thank you to Larraine and my son Joe for bringing her home to me 🥰🧜‍♀️. This is my piano chair which I’ve also managed to do a bit of recording on this week and recruit an amazing bass player for my music 🙌🤩. It’s all good and all systems GO! 🙌💜

🧡🍃🦄 ☕️ It was so lovely to be back at Maggie's Lanarkshire today to have our collective donation recognised with a giant cheque photo presentation. 🙏🤗 Thank you so much once again to all my followers who helped this amazing cancer support charity by buying tickets for my Glass Raffle or donating through my Kelpies Challenge fundraising page. 🧡🥰🙌. You are all amazing!
I chatted with the lovely Kerry-Anne who is a fundraising coordinator (holding the blank cheque beforehand ) at the centre and asked her what our donation could actually pay for. “Great Question” she smiled and chatted away enthusiastically…“Well it could buy 10 people a six week stress management course or a 10 person benefits advisor course to help them with their financial worries and also lots and lots of cups of tea & coffee, to name just a few options.” ☕️😍.
They were all so thankful, it makes you feel emotional and grateful to be healthy. I would love to do more in the future to help if I can. 💙🦄 I donated a Kelpies Vase to go in their next auction, which is a little bit more help. 🍃💧The indoor garden looked a beautiful picture with the light rain falling on the greenery in the middle of the centre, bringing Maggie’s vision to life. 🧡❤️

🧙💜🎶 Hi my lovelies, do you remember I stayed in the witches tiny hovel a couple of weeks ago in an air b&b in York? See a few posts before if you haven’t. WELL when I was there I recorded another one of my ‘Piano Through Glass’ songs called ‘White Witch’. I wrote this music and lyrics (below) many years ago and will be recording my work properly in the studio when I go to college in August to study Sound Production HNC for my dual career alongside my glass business. There’s a few pieces of my glass in the video, especially on the spoon in the cauldron. Please get used to me posting my music ideas and little scenarios 💜😃. It’s all part of my creative make up. So here is the acoustic video which eventually will become a full rock version with a singer and band accompanying me. Enjoy the White Witch who creates good spells for those who deserve it. Lyrics below 💕🍀☺️Thank you for supporting my creative journey my lovelies ❤️🎶☺️

‘White Witch’
Lyrics & Music
©️JChildsMusic2026

Making magic potions
Stirring up the cauldron
Putting in the sugar and spice
To taste there is a price
You make your soul payable
To the White Witch

White Witch (repeat x4)

Frogs and snails
And puppy dogs tails
Sugar and spice
And all things nice
Hocus Pocus
You’re under my spell
Under my veil

Firestone and gold dust
A magic wand before us
P***y cats and eyes of green
Treasure like you never seen
So you make your bed and lie on it
With the White Witch

White Witch (repeat x4)

❤️🦄 🧡 Straight from the horses mouth! What an incredible experience I’ve just had this afternoon completing my Maggie's Lanarkshire Charity Challenge by climbing and abseiling down through one of the amazing Kelpie sculptures at Helix Park. 😅I kept my cool even though I was scared, it was high! 🙌🤩 I met some amazing people, Alana a lady skydiver, Tony an offshore oil rig worker from Shetland and Neil Clark from Falkirk Piping & Glenbervie Folk an amazing piper who played the bagpipes from the very top - in the horses mouth, it really was quite an emotional moment 😍👏. The trained staff were impeccable with their instructions. Now that’s one of those memories I will treasure 🥰🙏. Thank you so much again to you all who helped to raise the £362 from the glass raffle and other donations towards this worthy cause. Mission accomplished! 🤩🍀🙌💕👏🧡

🔔 I have been designing today for the magnificent York Minster which I visited on my way home earlier this week. What an astonishing feat of human creation this beautiful cathedral is! It’s beyond belief how this was built so many centuries ago (like a lot of these iconic places) without the machinery & technology we have today. I was in total awe of its magnitude! I did the tower tour of 275 steps which was 197 feet/60 meters tall to get in practice for my Kelpies climb on Saturday 😅. I was fine! I feel I’m conquering my fear of heights at last! 😃🙏. Anyway, my designs although look simple incorporate a lot of the little details from the photos here. I spoke to the retail staff (as I did at Whitby Abbey) and showed them my glass samples which they loved 🥰. I told them I would create some bespoke designs and email the photos & prices to the retail manager. Let’s hope they order them for the York Minster shop 🙏❤️. Today I’m also working on the Helix Park visitor centre order, so I think my master plan is working to cut out the trade shows and gain more exclusive customers by cold calling although it’s nerve wracking 🙌🤩. Also a big thank you to my son Joe Cole for delivering several raffle prizes in Orkney today - he’s a good lad 🥰. Enjoy the photos my lovelies, I could’ve added more but had to stop myself 😂😂❤️😘
