There was lots of excitement in Somerton Market Place this morning because there was a late summer wedding at St Michael and All Angels’ Church. As the church bells rang out and the sun was shone, a beautiful pony and trap paused outside Somerton Antiques having taken the bride to the church. It made such an authentic scene considering our premises, Selwood House, dates back to the early 1800s. It has been a baker’s house, an estate agent’s and a tailor’s and now of course it is filled with decorative, sustainable and collectable antiques for sale.
Come and find yourself a treasure to add some vintage character to your home. We’re open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm, and we’re two down from The White Hart, Somerton

A recent visitor to Somerton Antiques taking full advantage of the ample free parking in our historic Market Place. This beauty was on her way to Somerset Steam and Country show just down the road in Low Ham but her owners stopped off to look at our sustainable antiques and vintage country finds.

We’re open Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 5pm, and this Thursday 30 July our coins and watches expert will be in the shop.

On Saturday 9 May we’re celebrating Somerset Day with an exciting pop-up of .designandvinyl Come and bag yourself a classic LP and a vintage postcard (or piece of antique furniture if you prefer) to go with it.

See for a taste of our fabulous little town and for Somerset Day events and timings. There will be stalls, live music, dancing, skittles, joy and sunshine (hopefully🤞). What better way to enjoy our wonderful vibrant county!

If you are lucky enough to get a table outside the fabulous Italian in Somerton’s historic Market Place you will be able to glimpse Somerton Antiques through the arches of the Buttercross Market. Be sure to come over and say hi after that delicious coffee and pastry.
We’re open 10am to 5pm.

New in this week: a pretty cross-banded tea table made over 100 years ago. It has four small fold-out shelves but what would you like to display? Fossils? Teacups? Vintage tins? Or just piles & piles of cake?!

Somerton Antiques is open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm, and we stock traditional antiques and vintage furniture, jewellery, coins, silver, pictures, mirrors, glass, china, postcards & marvellous curios that you never knew existed.

We’re two doors down from Somerton’s favourite pub and hotel, the wonderful .
Come and see us after your coffee and chatter if you can tear yourself away! Turn right out of the door and we’re 60m away.
