Today is World Orangutan Day!

At ChromaColour, we believe in celebrating the incredible beauty of the natural world. That includes protecting our closest animal relatives. Orangutans share around 97% of our DNA, yet their rainforest homes are disappearing at an alarming rate due to deforestation and unsustainable practices.

This World Orangutan Day, let’s raise awareness and take action together. Whether it’s choosing eco-friendly products, reducing waste, or supporting conservation charities, every small change can help protect these gentle forest giants.

Fun fact: Orangutans are known as the “gardeners of the forest” because they play a vital role in spreading seeds and keeping rainforests thriving.

Let’s honour them today by making choices that help preserve their future.
